Hi,
Unzip the zip file, and you'll get a gedcom file.

I know that but when one uses the browse function at the export destination in order to select the file to be uploaded, file is saved as .zip folder and clicking on that to open it will have selected the .zip itself for upload instead of opening to reveal the .ged. There is more to it than what you have answered. Thanks for reply but it does not help me.kallikrates hat geschrieben: ↑30 November 2020, 22:29 Hi,

Hi,
No, clicking on the zip file will simply open it, not unzip it.
I'm not sure what system you're using, but a right-click on the zip file should bring on a menu item such as "unzip" or maybe "extract". Do that, and you'll have the ged file outside the zip file.
Best,
K

We accept zipped GEDCOM files. Please go to https://my.geneanet.org/arbre/ and select your zip file.
